About Us
At Worryfree Legal Documents, we can assist you with a variety of legal document preparation needs, including completing the paper work for a divorce, from start to finish, offering divorce mediation services to help couples get clarity on how they could divide their assets fairly and resolve minor children's custody and support issues without too much conflict, preparing your Living Trust documents so your beneficiaries' interests are not left to the state to decide who gets what if you die without creating a Will or Living Trust, helping you fill forms for visas, green card, family petition or any other immigration issue, and notarizing your documents. We offer all these services at a very low cost.
Many clients believe they can complete their divorce documents and file them in the court themselves, but they end up making mistakes and get rejections from the court. Navigating the courts and court system can be daunting and cumbersome. An LDA is expert in doing this paper work and can do this for you at a fraction of the cost you would pay to a divorce lawyer. Or to any other professional such as an estate planning attorney or an immigration attorney. We, as LDAs, can provide professional self-help services to help our clients achieve their goals.

Who is a Legal Document Assistant (LDA)
According to California Business and Professional Code §6400, a Legal Document Assistant (LDA) provides self-help service to a member of the public who is representing himself or herself in a legal matter. LDAs can complete legal documents at the client’s specific instruction and provide general published factual information that has been written or approved by an attorney. Legal Document Assistants must be bonded and registered with the County Court Clerk in which they conduct their business.
An LDA vs. an Attorney
A typical divorce in California costs a couple over 50,000 when they hire the services of an attorney. An LDA’s services in comparison cost a fraction of that amount. Our divorce services start at $699 plus the court fees for a simple divorce. Call us for a consultation and get the estimate for your particular case. If a case is complex, it may become necessary to retain an attorney, but it is to the clients' benefit to resolve issues with the help of a mediator and an LDA to complete the paperwork.

How Mediation Helps
It is natural that divorce causes anger and anxiety in couples so it becomes difficult for them to work together. As a result, the moment one party declares they want a divorce, the other party rushes to hire legal help leading to lengthy court hearings and trials ending up spending thousands of dollars.
Dolly learned from her personal life experiences that if couples co-operate with each other in completing the divorce process with the help of a mediator, they can reduce the anger and anxiety to a great extent. The mediator is a neutral party trying to make sure both the parties are fair to each other. Couples may never have to go to the court by using mediation to negotiate the terms acceptable to both the parties and by using an LDA's help to complete the paper work. In this way, they take charge of the matters and carve out their own destiny. Couples that use mediation come out less bitter with each other and possibly stay on amicable terms making the divorce much more smooth, bearable, less bitter, and way less expensive.
Mediation provides couples the opportunity to review and negotiate their options regarding spousal and child support, child custody, visitation schedules, and property division in the informal environment of an LDA's office as opposed to the formal and stressful environment of a court where the judge will pass the orders that may or may be to the liking of one or both the parties. On the other hand, Dolly’s mediation skills and the ability to draft Marriage Settlement Agreement provides the opportunity to both the parties to review and revise the terms of important matters, avoiding lengthy trials in the courtroom.

Wills and Living Trusts
We can create Wills and Living Trusts to help our clients plan their estates (savings, personal and real property, pension etc.). By creating these documents you make sure that only those beneficiaries get your assets that YOU would like them to inherit or disinherit. If you don't do that while you are alive and mentally capable, the state will do that for you according to the laws of inheritance if you die before creating these important documents. That also means that your beneficiaries will have to go to court and endure the expensive and long drawn process called probate to prove their right to inherit your assets. Acting now will save them thousands of dollars in legal costs and precious time and energy.
Creating Grant Deeds
We also create Grant Deeds such as adding your spouse to the title of your property, Inter-spousal Transfer (Quit Claim Deed) in case of divorce, and Trust Transfer Deed to move your property into your Living Trust.
Our Mission
The mission of Worryfree Legal Documents is to make our clients’ legal battles safe, easier, quicker, and affordable whether it is divorce, creating a Will or a Living Trust, creating Grant Deeds, or notarizing their important documents.
